Dr. Ra’ed Al-Sadhan is a Professor and Consultant of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in the Department of Oral Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences at the College of Dentistry, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He earned his Master of Dental Sciences from the University of Connecticut, USA, in 2002, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology since 2001. He completed his Bachelor of Dentistry at King Saud University in 1996.
Dr. Al-Sadhan has held several leadership roles, including Vice Dean for Clinical and Administrative Affairs at the College of Dentistry and Chairman of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences Department. He has served as a member of the King Saud University Scientific Council and Research Ethics Committee, contributing to the academic and research excellence of the institution.
With an extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Al-Sadhan has made significant contributions to radiological diagnostics, particularly in cone-beam computed tomography and advanced imaging techniques. His work has advanced understanding in areas like dental implantology, temporomandibular joint disorders, and osseous pathology, solidifying his reputation as a leading expert in his field
